Victoria Lu (Lu Rongzhi), an art critic and curator from Taiwan, China. She has devoted her entire life to the work of “seeing” — discovering young artists, naming new movements, and writing prefaces for one person after another. Her story with her husband, Mr. Fu Shen, has been spoken of in the art world for many years. Two people who spent their lives within the world of calligraphy and painting turned their later years into a quiet yet profoundly weighty love story. In recent years, her memory has been gradually fading. Yet she continues to write, to paint, and to remain present. Using AI-generated imagery, we created a short film — Searching for Victoria Lu. It is not about what she is losing, but about what she has continued to hold on to.
